Karmela is one of my favorite restaurants in Kraków. The Żurek (Sour rye soup) aka white borscht with sausage and egg in bread was absolutely amazing! I also love the bigos (Polish stew), and pierogis with veal.

Polish restaurant with very cheap and good pierogis in Rynek Główny. We had
pierogis with cabbage and mushrooms, beetroot soup, and naleśniki (Polish crepes) with spinach, it tasted similar to the Chinese green onion pancake (蔥油餅).

Chlopskie Jadlo serves traditional Polish peasant style food with an open kitchen and a huge dining table based on a medieval settlement plan. The homemade rural bread with a pot of lard made with apples, garlic, and marjoram, is served as an appetizer and very delicious. I also love the roasted pork in prune sauce with Silesian dumplings.
